Mum conned me into getting that handbag btw. I was accompanying her in Parkson when she pointed out that she liked that bag but then added saying the price is a bit high. Being the filial child, I had succumb to her and buy the bag, making mummy happier and me, a bit poorer.

It's 'choi yatt' (day 1) of Chinese New Year and every morning I wake up to a bowl of 'mee sua' or longevity noodles. Not every Chinese culture practices this but my family does. And with every bowl of mee sua, we get a year older and live a year longer.

Like everyone else, we succumb to superstitions such as to not use a pair of scissors or sweep the floor or you'll be throwing your good luck away. Nor should we wear black and red is most auspicious colour to every Chinese New Year.

So when the new's anchor said there would be a laser show and fireworks, I grabbed the family out, lol.

A Chinese Reunion

People shouldn't be so skeptical or over think the purpose of a reunion dinner. I remember last year on a tv show, they were expressing their personal opinions and one guest host said that she dislike the fact that the sole purpose of a reunion dinner is to get everyone together at the table.

She continues to explain that we shouldn't gather for the sake of an event but instead frequently have family dinners.

In a way it is true, but wouldn't it be nice if we could come together to prepare a big feast. The enthusiasm and excitement of putting together and to celebrate?

Every new year requires a new hairdo or maybe it's just another reason to do your hair :p

This year, I bought a voucher from I Love Discounts. You could choose between a perm, rebounding or hair coloring plus a cut, hair treatment and wash for RM 79.90.

I chose to have chocolate coloured hair with bangs and had forgotten to check the brand! Nonetheless, I'm pleased with it besides the minor shock with the bangs even though I had bangs like this before. The first time I had it, I snipped it off on my own :p

I was a walk-in customer and Alex humbly took me in even though over the phone they claimed to be fully booked till 2nd February. What would have been the odds walking in to find it barely filled? Hmm??

Of course I wasn't about to point that out, what if they ruin my hair, right? But to be honest, I was just trying my luck so I'm fortunate to have my hair done because the backup plan was to self dye!

I don't know but don't you think that probably getting a smart phone isn't a great thing? Probably the creation of itself shouldn't be part of the present.

I'm on the phone like freaking all the time that sometimes you just forget how a real conversation goes and I miss that. Right now I'm blogging with my boyfriend sitting across of me, quietly doing his own thing, having nothing to say. Sigh.

Where were the times you struggled to keep a conversation going rather than run off to use your smart phone because of the awkward silence?

I want random questions, debates and talks like when we didn't have smart phones. :(

I didn't feel what everyone thinks they would have on their very last day of work. I didn't rejoice that I didn't need to work but of course it beats traveling la. The idea that I always thought I had to sing along 'I'm coming home' by J.Cole just never happened. And the truth was that this was my last resort before a mental break down.

There was a farewell party cum birthday celebration and retirement on one Friday afternoon. And I knew I had to give a speech so I quickly made one that morning at work which went pretty well I would say =p Besides the fact, I had to choose my words carefully as I didn't want to profusely sound like I owe my colleague my life at work. She isn't the best supervisor/friend at work.

My colleague who worked at the same department with me of a higher post was the most emotionless person in the room and we could practically feel her vibe. Whatever la, it serves her right for asking stupid questions to my colleague/friend whether is it Chinese people couldn't stand working for the government. that is why they resign? Like wth, people like you make us want to quit.

And a little something from me to thank the pharmacy unit in return was a Chocolate Indulgence cake by Secret Recipe.

Ying Ying had also arrange our last gathering at Secret Recipe before I departed. She was my friend and colleague at Hospital Tampin who came in at the same time as me. Without her, I would have just died.

Ivy, who couldn't join us for lunch but was forced to take a picture with.

I never expected that I would shed a tear or two when one of my dispensers gave me a hug on my very last day at work. Of all 3 of them, she was motherly and supportive throughout my days there. I felt that she never judged my work ethics and she was efficient even at her age. I was pretty shocked as well when my boss gave me a hug, then there were my dispensers and it suddenly just felt so genuine.

Ivy asked why I didn't cry when they gave me a hug and the answer to my question is: I know I'll see you again =)

All this while, I had never accepted my fate with an open mind but they accepted me with an open heart except my colleague, who used me while I was there. I practically ruled the department on my own. pfft. I can imagine my desk filled with piles of paper and medication she can delay settling. I know that it'll just be a mess without me there.

People ask me what's my next move and I have to tell you I don't have one yet, at least not a solid plan. I'm on my break so let me chill!

I'm suffering from depression.

Don't start being all judgmental as if I'm a damn bimbo who is all frowny faces. It's much more dark, deep and deadly. And all over the world there is someone just the same.

Depression is crying almost every night; knowing that there is no hope left for you. That every failure gives you a mental break down even if it was just a tiny weeny problem. It ruins every moment of happiness because deep down you know you are unhappy. Depression lukes in every corner of your heart; surprising you any time of the day, whether you're happy or you are not.

Whenever it drops by, you want to run and hide and some times you would choose to die than to live.

RED VELVET CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

Once, there was a phase where everyone baked, bought and tasted red velvet. It's still the in thing with cakes and cupcakes.

I honestly think it's not that yummy, a bit bitter in fact and you can OD on the cream cheese frosting. I had my first try at Hummingbird Cafe at Bangsar and I never had it again.

But anyhuu, I bake, and I baked it! My first successful cake, which is the second cake I ever baked in my 25 years of life.

I'm not too sure about the taste because I'm down with the cold, can't smell nor taste! ARGH! And I don't know why my frosting isn't white but yellowish @.@

What you need?

1. A laptop

2. Internet Connection
I have maxis mobile fiber optic internet connection at home! wee~

3. Recipe from popular baker such as Joy the Baker and Martha Stewart
The reason why I chose Joy because I read her blog, she's fab and Martha because I didn't have the full ingredients for the cream cheese frosting recipe in Joy =p

4. Ingredients and tools
I substituted buttermilk with milk + vinegar, too lazy to look for buttermilk which is not actually made of butter.

According to DC Cupcakes, if you watch it on Astro they use apple cider vinegar because it's sweeter compared to basic white vinegar, which I totally forgotten together with the vanilla essence and baking soda. hehe. The reason why you add vinegar and baking soda is to give that fluff.

I only realised it after I put the first layer into the oven and I took it out, and added some vanilla essence, wahahaha, I'm a lousy baker.

Heat the oven first at 360 degress before you start lining the cake. And in Martha Stewart's recipe, she said butter the pan, line the parchment, butter that and add a dash of flour, which I found very useful to pull the cake out of the tin and later remove the paper.

The amount of colouring is used for the cake, is OMG so much! I had to use the whole bottle of colouring and that also is less than I'm suppose to use. Apparently you can substitute food colouring because it's not so healthy with beetroot juice.

New Year 2012

Everyone who has an 'active' blog is expected to write about their resolutions. Whether they are maintained, accomplished or down the drain. But I didn't have any last year (scrambles to check past post), yup, I didn't have any so I would assume I have achieved what I didn't planned out for myself this year. What a success! ;)

This year was pretty rough, it's the first and hopefully the last time I would have to go through unbearable pain for months. Suicidal thoughts had crossed my mind, many many times. I wouldn't have been able to get through 2011 without the love I received and I would like to give a big virtual bear hug to them.

I'm just glad that the path that was always laid out for me is now out of sight and I can finally make my own destiny. It's a lot scarier than you think.

Finally, wishing every a Happy 2012! and stop making stupid resolutions like cutting down budget or losing weight, like seriously??

p/s: gotta run off to prepare a bbq!

Elise is a friend that I had met at work during our houseman ship. I was the first person she worked with at her first station. My impression of her was that she was absolutely blur. She was a 29 year-old graduate from a Taiwan university. Everyone was gossiping, wondering why the heck was she 29 and doing houseman ship. The answer was very simple but every had their own made up story.

The very same day that Elise came in, a friend told me that her batch mate was reporting in the same day. I guess I was the pretty stupid, the one who kept asking her if she was the said friend even after she said no at all occasions.

And after I heard from a friend that she complimented me because of the things I thought her, I felt bad. And in the end, that very thought was just because of language barrier.

Congratulations to Elise and Husband! I so do not know husband's name.

The best thing about weddings are also the reunion of friends.

DAY 3

Due to the disastrous shopping on day 2, it was time me and boon san redeem ourselves for a full blown ultimate shopping day! It was the most shopping that I ever did in a day! Seriously!

We returned to Jalan Dago, going into every warehouse outlet we find on the street, spending hours browsing through the clothes, trying on the clothes and picking out what to buy!

We shopped till we literally dropped!

It was totally amazing even though we hardly bought anything, LOL to self.

And behold, the warehouses at Jalan Dago we visited...

And as girls, we always pamper ourselves so we visited Akar Spa, which is located inside Edward Forrer. We had a full body massage that cost only Rph 90, 000.

After a day's worth of work, we weren't ready to let go, we were determined for more and we had the most outrageous rides (notice the S) to Paris Van Java.

We took several angkutans and had to walk at least a mile to get to this place. Take my advise, print a map from the internet because there are angkutan drivers who would just say yes to any destination you are heading, which at the end ask us to get off and take another ride to another street.

Before we arrived at Paris Van Java, we visited the Pak Cik Met, famous for ikan bakar (grilled fish) for tourist. Even though the price was a bit steep for Indonesia, the fish was amazing!

So, I have this fetish for DISCOUNTS!

Like who doesn't right?

It has been months but since the birth of these crazy websites, I have been standing by them. I'm talking about these web pages that allows online group buying. Enabling customers to buy a deal to obtain the discount once it reaches it's target purchase.

On top of my list is EVERYDAY.COM.MY.

Before it became what it is today, it's focus was on displaying SALES all over klang valley. Every month, they would identify the top contributor to sales notification, and the top contributor is even working there now.

I enjoy viewing everyday.com.my because they always have a variety of amazing deals!

Second on my list would probably be Groupon Malaysia.

They used to be called groupsmore but now changed to Groupon Malaysia. And they are the most popular online buying deal web page. But I hardly buy anything from them anymore, I used to, but nowadays, their deals are mostly about electronics and with electronics, you always have to pay a sum of money anyway.

Then there is Mydeal.com.my

They used to have good deals but now there are more facial/slimming/hair removal deals.

And there is I Love Discounts

I bought a mooncake deal from them and it turned out that purchasing mooncake from the roadshow itself entitles 30% more discount compared to my deal purchase online. A lady who was redeeming the mooncakes at the same time I was, was really pissed!

Lastly, Hahah.com.my

They collaborate with DIGI and I'm not a DIGI user, so how?

There is even a webpage called ILOVEDEALS.my

That allows you to view just one web page to get the best deals from all of the above mentioned web pages above, like seriously wtf! It's like blogshopping!

There was once I stumbled on a deal that allowed you to purchase hamsters for RM5, and nobody bought it. And below the deal was a comment that said 'this is the worst deal ever! ' LOL. Some deals are pretty senseless, like the one below!

Whether it's clothes or more clothes, we would always have the same problem with overspending because we get tempted by the huge sales and discounts, I mean, who can we blame right? And it's just the same with these websites.

I once bought so many vouchers that I totally forgotten that I had bought an Italian lunch deal until I was reminded several days before expiry (yeah to email reminders!). And because I'm working far, far away from KL (an hours drive of 140-150km/hr) I couldn't redeem it! But I was fortunate, because reviews said that place sucked anyway, haha.

But I think the bigger picture is not that I didn't keep track of the deals I bought and from which website (er, maybe it is) but anyhuu, my point is that we buy too many deals!

We should, like shopping (sometimes) put a feet forward and put down that gorgeous pair of gold strapped stilettos that would be perfect for the stunning LBD you bought the other day for the coming Christmas party!! Noooooo!

When it comes to discounts, we should do our research to ensure that we purchase a GOOD deal, hence, satisfactory!

There are a lot of facial deals out there but did you know that there are deals that are only for FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS?? So don't be fooled, always read the terms to ensure a SMART purchase. You don't want to be embarrassed trying to redeem your voucher after being told that you already came here before (probably ages ago) and you go 'huh?' And they show you on your terms that it's only for first time customers, and you 'oooooh' (descending sound) while trying to hide your face trying to cover your embarrassment.

And another why you should be thorough with the terms because some deals are only valid on certain days or time or outlet. For example, a food voucher that only entitles you to redeem the deal only during lunch time and at another outlet @.@ and again, you don't want to make a fool of yourself by leaving the cafe because you came to wrong shop!

Research is always important because you don't want to end up buying a sucky discount like what happened to me with the mooncake voucher. Totally PAWNED!

Besides, with restaurants there is always the risk of having to suffer bad food and to top that bad service. Thus, it's better to not only rely on comments about the restaurants on the web page but also to google reviews on these restaurants too.

Location, location, location! We would probably never redeem that RM8 per a session of laser tag until the very last day till expiry because it's at a place you hardly/never went before and donky far away.

I think the only problem I have with redeeming vouchers is when I'm leaving a eatery.

Do I still call the waitress/waiter to ask for my bill?
Or should I just leave the cafe after eating?
It's a dilemma I tell you.
Don't you have the same problem???

DAY 2

After a good night's sleep, it was time for our hotel breakfast!

Not very pleasant food...yuck!

Anyhuu, that morning our plan was to visit Tangkuban Parahu. A dead volcano located an hour from our location and as the name suggest, we are to find an overturned boat or sampan in the mist of the mountains, which is not a very interesting fact to be honest but the legend on the other hand, is like wtf.

Apparently the usual rate of a driver would be Rph 600, 000 inclusive of petrol, driver's meal and parking fees and also depending on the type of car rented but we bargained with our driver to a whooping Rph 400,000!

Once we arrived, we are required to pay Rph 50,000 for the entrance fee before going up to the top. Our chosen dates to visit Bandung coincided with the SEA Games, so we were forced to spend 2hours at the top enjoying the view.

At the top, there is no doubt you'll be flooded with vendors trying to sell you key chains, fluffy hats and funny toys. Me and Boon San were trying to enjoy our walk but the so-called licence tour guide wouldn't leave us alone. We told him to his face that we didn't need a guide but he insisted that he was free, like whatever! The above picture is the first thing you'll see, the queen's crater or kawah ratu but the first thing you'll notice is the smell of rotten eggs from the sulphur emitting gases.

And as you look from a far, there is a route like a hike towards the other side of the crater. According to the guide, you'll get a closer look at the crater. The dumbest thing he didn't do was not bother telling us there was a proper route to walk down these slippery slops.

The guide who wouldn't leave us alone. He was saying that he could help us take pictures and it's FREEEEE! But when we were leaving he was very persistent in selling his key chains!

Besides the dead volcano, another attraction at the same area is Domas Crater but to go there, you need to hire a license guide to bring you to the place and a license guide would cost you Rph 250,000 who will take 1-5 people.

And because it was just me and boon san, we weren't keen to pay so much just to have our legs dipped in hot spring water or eat boiled eggs cooked in those water. So we had to pass that up, also due to the fact that we failed to find people to tag along, haha, ya, we weren't shameful enough to try our luck.

Besides the dead volcano, another tourist spot you could visit is Kawah Putih, which is a 2 hours trip from town.

Next on the list was of course more shopping! But before that, we stopped to have a meal.

After those warehouses, we were certain that Rumah Mode is the best!
Seriously!

Some of the goods you can buy back home is from Maicih, which are halal chips. Other than that are Amanda Brownie Kukus and Kek Lapis. But according to same reviews on the internet, many have commented that the kek lapis isn't great.

At night, we returned to Cihampela walk for dinner.

DAY 1

Our flight time was altered several times until the day we flied. The time we selected for our flight was perfect, a 8.30am flight with a return time at 5.30pm, which entitles sufficient sleep and use of the day but nonetheless as the only cheapest airline company ruling the skies of Malaysia, there is always a feud about its services. In the end, our flight was switched to 6.35am! How gruesome!!

We bought our flight during a sale and if we didn't use a credit card, our air ticket would only cost us rm 75 return! How cheap is that!

That morning we woke up at godly hour and took a bus at KL Central to LCCT. The night before we had checked-in online and printed our tickets to save on rushing! That's another tip for travelling!

Once arriving at the airport (2 hours flight), I was amazed how no one stopped any of us from pulling out the camera and taking a photo just right next to the aircraft. No one cared and that was when I pulled out mine, the view above was the building facing the runway.

Next stop was hauling a cab, ok we didnt haul a cab we just went to the taxi counter and bought a ticket to Hotel Amaris at Cihampela Street. It costs us Rph 40,000 (Rph 1million = rm355).

We booked our hotel online through their main website and scored a cheap price for their room (Rph 900,000++) less than rm100 a night.

The building looked like an office but later on modified to a hotel. It has a small lobby, cafe and swimming pool. I'm not even sure whether you should call it a swimming pool or a pool for deco??

The room is pretty standard, very similar to tune hotel by Air Asia but much better without the Ads around the room.

Actually, it was still too early to check in at the hotel when we arrived 8.30am, Bandung is 1 hour behind. So after registering, we walked down the road about 10mins to Cihampela Walk (curve inspired mall).

There weren't many interesting places to shop inside, the nike warehouse and the supermarket is probably the highlight of all the shops beside the eating outlets.

The above is Nasi Goreng Ijo, taste like fried rice but look at the amount of colouring they used!!!!

And the must try is the Avocado juice (Advokat) and Soursop juice. The avocado juice is drizzled with chocolate sauce if you were wondering what that brick red was.

Cihampela street is famous for branded jeans especially levi's. If you walk further down after Cihampela walk, you would fine many more warehouses selling jeans. You can even find superhero warehouse, ironman warehouse and batman warehouse.

After returning to the hotel, we took a shot nap before heading to our first warehouse of our trip and also the highlight of all warehouses in Bandung; Rumah Mode!

Our main transportation to all warehouses were the Angkutan, which are van like mini buses. There are tons of angkutans on the road and each ride would cost from Rph 1000 to 3000. Each angkutan drives a certain route, so do ask around to know which angkutan to ride.

Rumah Mode is given special attention in this post because the truth is even though Rumah Mode wasn't like fabulous, believe me when I say that it is best warehouse among all warehouses.

Why? Because they have proper space and lighting! And the building is well kept and ventilated. The place looks like a real clothes outlet.

And to be honest, the shopping at Bandung isn't that great unless you're a huge fans of t-shirts! However, the quality is much better than the clothes you find in Bangkok. We even came back to Rumah Mode on the last day.

Rumah Mode also has the most variety of clothes and brands but the least in the men's department. I do doubt their originality of the brands though.

But before heading to a hard work of shopping, we stopped at Sozis, a food market at Rumah Mode for our second meal. At every warehouse there is always a cafe where you can eat and shop, which is the best combination ever! Besides Sozis, there is also Java Bean and Bumbu Desa.
I had their Batagor which is fried tauhu and fish paste with their special peanut sauce. It was mediocre.

Boon San had a ayam penyet with rice. Totally not the ayam penyet we have in Kuala Lumpur!

We a filled stomach it, was time for shopping!

In less than an hour we were actually done browsing through the clothes and our hands were empty! Then we gave Rumah Mode another chance, so we spent another hour really looking at the clothes, fortunately we did find some stuff to try. And because it rained, we did a thorough look at each and every piece until we finally ended up buying something.

When the rain stopped we walked further up to find Fashion World and several other non pleasing warehouses.

That night we returned to Cihampela Walk to have our dinner before hitting the sack.

We had our meal at the kiosk, which I would recommend to any visiting tourist. Not only is the food great but cheaper than other places.

This is what two girls can eat! People were probably wondering that we were starving little people who havent eaten the whole day because we were the only 2 people who had so much food on the table!

Nasi Liwet, rice with anchovies, fried onions and salted egg with fried chicken and tauhu.

Ayam penyet bakar with rice.

Satay Ayam or Sate Ayam, which taste amazing. Their peanut sauce comes with a drizzle of sweet sauce.

Grilled Banana with Cheese, which was heavenly!

Last but not least, Ice Campur ot Es Campur. I think the cubed mango gave it a nice touch of sweetness.

And when the bill came, it was less than rm30!
I kid you not!!! Super cheap meal ever!!

You may or may not have come across some of TLCs' personal and household products in the market. If not good than better than many of the major brands you can name.

However, my true concern about this company is that 100% of their dividends are given to charity! wtf. Julia Chong as the founder of TLC whom previously dealt with brands such as Dettol and Kiwi Klean is returning the favor to society. She and the co-founder has a share of RM1 in this company, where as the other 1, 499, 998 shares is handled under HSBC Trustee Company ensuring that the money really goes to charity.

So far 5 charities have been listed under TLC, which are NASAM (Stroke patients), Rumah Aman (orphaned children and children from poor families), HOSPIS (palliative care), The Handicapped and Mentally Disabled Children Association Johor Bahru and Shelter Home (disabled and mentally challenged children)

And all you have to do is purchase their products and every single day you are a saint for donating. Rest assured that I have changed my products to TLC! So what are you waiting for??

Indeed it was a BBQ buffet grilling chicken wings, beef and lamb.

Even though it was a buffet, I didn't have the appetite for second servings accept for the lamb dressed in mint sauce.

I was given the opportunity to attend a workshop by KOSE Cosmetics with my sister a few weeks back. KOSE had launched a new line of products in Malaysia, which can be found in leading Watsons pharmacy. KOSE Cosmetics sold in Malaysia are 100% made in Japan, which is reassuring as some products by Japan are made in China.

Their products ranged from hair, face to body and they're all so yummilicious. We were given goodies bags too! wee~
I need more food for the face!

Western products mostly go with the 3 step method for the face; cleansing > apply toner > moisturising. However, the Japanese practices the 5 step method; cleansing > washing > Apply lotion > Essence + Moisturiser/Cream > Sun Protection

I uber loved their products especially the lotion and moisturiser which came with a strong scent of lavender. It was pampering. The hair products had a great scent as well and felt great on my hair.

When I was younger, I got into a car accident. A lorry had smashed into the side of the Kancil that I was driving home in. After explaining the incident to my mum, she said 'Next time, drive carefully'. My dad replied to my mother that it wasn't my fault.

So why did my mum make that remark?
Is it because of my careless driving, that I fail to see reckless drivers?

In a somewhat deserted area of Bangsar, lies a dodgy looking cafe. As you walk up to the house converted cafe, a small organic store fills the front.

As you walk in, you can see the counter top and further inside is the cozy 'chill out' cafe. An ongoing raw food cooking class was being held when we arrived.

Once again, mydeal.com.my offered a great deal for the meal.

I always thought that this place is pricey, which should be reserved for special occasions. And we did, but it didn't burn a hole in 'his' pocket. On our second anniversary, we had dinner at Il Tempio.

Tamarind Springs located at the outskirts of town is surrounded by ever lasting green. It's a cozy, romantic and tantalizing restaurant for a new and natural ambience. It is divided into 3 cuisines; italian, indochinese and malaysian.

Roasted pandan coconut (RM 10)
A coconut drink wouldn't be the same after you've tried this. The taste of the roast pandan made the drink refreshing and superb.

Starters (Complimentary Bread) + Mineral Water (RM 9)
Two types of bread ready to be slap on with butter swirls and a hint of black pepper.
Bottled Tamarind Spring water.

Porcini Mushroom (RM 32)
A fancier way to say mushroom soup. I thought this is the most worthy dish to be ordered but the mushrooms were nicely grilled to perfection.

Ravioli Seafood Salmon (RM34)
Stuffed with salmon. Whoa! Fresh salmon with tomato pesto.

Gnocchi with Duck Confit (RM 36)
The best dish of the night. The duck was delicious with potatoe dumplings served with foie gras sauce.

Chocolate Tart (RM 26)
I do not understand why, but it is definitely not a tart. A molten lava chocolate cake concept served with vanilla cream and mango sorbet. thumbs up.

Taking the karak highway, it'll take less than an hour to reach this place from KL. Started by Berjaya, it consist of the French Village, Japanese Tea Garden, Botanical Garden, Rabbit Park, Horse Trail and the Berjaya Golf Course. Basically a day trip would be sufficient.

The entrance fee into the is RM12 for adults and RM10 for children but if you stay at the Berjaya Resort, the fee will be deducted from the hotel rate and you'll get a 10% voucher for dining purposes. There is the Colmar Tropicale, Meranti Suites and also the Berjaya Golf Clubhouse to stay.

Someone once said that there are just some things that can't be understood but I wanted to understand it.

The first paper I failed was math, algebra to be exact and I was good in math so that didn’t made sense. The math didn’t make sense. I couldn’t understand why it would be a root rather than a square. And as I sat in class, tears formed at the rinks of my eyes, while holding the red F-marked paper. For the next paper, I was determined to pass so I engulf what was thrown to me. That was a story of a frigging class test.

Failure is such a strong word. In fact, F itself is a huge letter, don’t you think? It spells Fcuk and Fish, which only consist of 4 letters. As I had told my dad about another one of my failures in life, I felt a jerk of separation from the hug that glued me strong. Did I really feel that? Or was it my subconscious telling me how much a failure I was? I scored almost every other paper hoping to bring up those grades. And that day, I cried my eyes out. That was the end of those wishful thinking.

Have I failed you? Because it’s been years and you’re still so hard to please. I want what you want. But I can’t have what you want. Why do I constantly fail?

Today, I had a bad feeling. I had to chase my dog that ran after the cat, twice. I had dropped my tau foo fah in which the container broke. I still ate what was left though. And then I noticed it. Am I leading myself to failure? Or is it a failure to my success?

I know I don’t live in a dream but why do I still want to?

Some things remain a mystery, which with your almighty heart you have to accept it as it is because if you don’t, you just might get an F in life.

I would like to curl up into a ball and die now.

I got KFC for FREE!

Looking for a midnight snack, I drove to the nearest 24 hour KFC outlet in town. At the drive thru, I had ordered my usual; snack plate with spicy chicken thighs. A heavy snack indeed. On the other hand, I'm glad that spicy chicken is back on the menu, no more sucky black pepper chicken!

The staff gave as instructed, spicy chicken with pepsi, no ice. I even asked for more miniature sized ketchup packets, which I frankly think that manufacturers should reconsider on the size issue. The next thing I knew, he shut the sliding window and left.

During the minute I waited, contemplating whether to be a guilt free citizen or a lucky fellow, I watched the staff busily ignoring my existence.

I was good to go. I drove thinking that what if, they were CCTVs and that I would be blacklisted from that KFC forever! That would be a nightmare or maybe the staff that took my order was going to come back with the bill or is it a sign from GOD?

I somewhat believe in Karma is going to bite me on the tail. And it did, the vegetables for the coleslaw was bitter, the mash was coming stiff, the chicken didn't taste spicy and the drink was diluted.

Carried live on national television, two plastic boxes, one with a German flag and one with a Spanish, were lowered into Paul's tank at an aquarium in western Germany, each with a tasty morsel of food inside.

I personally think that there are people out there targeting vehicles with bumper stickers. Previously, the Saga's antenna got stolen and I had a faint idea that it was due to the bumper sticker that I had bought not long before. Was it offensive? 'Like what you see? Call 1800-I-don't-give-a-shit' as so I remember.

Then, the hundred year old Myvi, which I have just recently added a bumper sticker about fashionable passenger only get a ride in the car had a similar fate.

Seriously, there are people to get cars with bumper stickers. Maybe that's how the thief rolls. So, like before, I'm waiting for a miracle to happen. ;)

I Wanna Watch Toy Story 3

Remember this? It has been ages since I last watch Toy Story.
It's a childhood cartoon cum movie that has a toy's perspective but not in a scary way.

Toy Story 1 was with the addition of Buzz Light Year.
where I beloved Little Bo Peep and I even had the McD's toy figure of her.

Then came the cowgirl in the Toy Story 2
She was okay, didn't really like the new girl.

But in the next sequel, there would be a bunch of new characters that I'm already starting to like.

Barbie's ex-bf? Ken.

The last we heard, they broken up (great way to entertain the kids, boys).
But we will be seeing a glimpse of oh-so-charming ken and the perfect lady, barbie together in this sequel.
Next, the lots-o-hugging bear!

Not until that very day had I ever ice skated. Conclusion, it was fun. It was scary at first, because getting worried that I'll fall and my clothes will be wet. It gets better with increase of speed and being less worried.

And there are still people trying to get your eye by swerving through your very concentrated course of circling the rink. Then there is the ice rink Indian guard that tried to converse with me in Chinese when I don't speak the language.
